What to expect on the 1st session?
​Before our first session, we'll have a short, free discovery chat/call to discuss your challenges and how I work. If we decide to work together, in the first session we'll chat about what's been bothering you, set some goals, and share a bit of your background. Together, we'll create a plan and learn some basic techniques to get started, along with a few exercises for you to try out. It's all about getting comfortable and setting the stage for your therapy journey.

Does counseling really work? How?
These techniques are simple yet very effective because they teach us how to think in a more helpful way. Solution-focused coaching helps us build on what's working, rather than dwelling on what isn't. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a proven, effective treatment for changing negative thought patterns and behaviors, with research showing 75% of people experiencing significant improvement. All of these require mindfulness, and we can all benefit from the playful, creative approach of design thinking.

What does counseling look like?
It's a solution-focused process where we set clear, achievable goals and recognize your strengths and past successes. We'll change thinking patterns and behaviors using techniques like recognizing thought distortions, problem-solving, facing fears, and learning relaxation. Together, we'll create practical action plans and I'll provide ongoing support with regular check-ins to celebrate progress and make adjustments.

How many sessions do I need?
The number of sessions can vary based on individual needs and goals. Typically, the counseling process involves around 5 to 15 sessions. We'll discuss your specific situation during our initial discovery call and tailor the number of sessions to best suit your needs and objectives.

How much do I need to invest - time and costs?
Depending on your goals, we usually meet in Abu Dhabi or online weekly or biweekly for 60-minute sessions. As progress is made, clients may opt to check in monthly, with a recommended follow-up session a few months after our initial work together.
I offer different packages for my clients, prices start from 500 AED per session.
